Ask her first if she wants to have kids named Holly (DY), Bert (DY) and Satur (DY)! Hoy, mag-comment ka naman sa blog ko! http://jennycaspe.blogspot.com
Hahaha siyempre feeling ko I had to reply to this (from a married person's perspective):
think long-term.
(Not that I'm saying a Starbucks barista is not a good choice for a wife, but..)
1. Are your lives going in the same direction? Mahirap pag you want to settle down here in 'Pinas, but she wants to jet-set to New York.
2. Do you have a lot in common? The jury's still out on this one, but I think it generally helps that you both have more activities in common. Otherwise, if you find one another's activities boring, baka you might end up living separate lives eventually. (Aray ko)
3. Economics. Ideally my friend, true love conquers all, but when you marry someone, you marry their family, too. I've seen a lot of problems caused because one spouse practically supports the other spouse's family - father, mother, brother, sister - the entire in-law clan. NOT HEALTHY..
Anyway, apologies, did I just kill the spirit of this entry? HAHAHA
